this is just about the trade descriptions act and the sale of goods act. the ppt is really a template to get you started and the activity is just a cut and stick activity. the smart kids may realise that the worksheet is already in the correct order and leave it. other kids will cut them all out before reading it.

A starter designed at my GCSE class just to practice working out how to use interest rates and comparing methods of finance. Feel free to change and adapt. Answers: Q1 - 22.5% Q2 - £11,750 Q3 - £500 saved Q4 - 50% Q5 - 25% Q6 - open to yourself what is the right answer but basically because the bank offer a lower rate because they get more profit in the long term with the larger loan. I used this video of rogue traders (mis-fueling business) to show my GCSE class to show the a business behaving unethically and also consumer protection and rights. The worksheet is fairly straight forward and the students complete is as they go along. Then you can finish by discussing their responses as a class or amongst themselves. hope this helps an otherwise quite dry topic. Thanks

Students can use the computers and Internet to complete the worksheet on distribution channels Pretty straight forward to use, helps the students come up with examples of the different types and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
